Project Background

As a core sugar-producing area in China, Chongzuo has extremely high requirements for continuous power supply in sugar production. Meanwhile, the Cultural Tourism & Creative Industrial Park needs to balance the safety experience of tourists and the diversity of power consumption in artistic spaces. This project requires the construction of a power distribution system that can adapt to both sugar production (high load, continuous operation) and cultural tourism park (multi-business formats, safety and aesthetics), and must address the following local challenges:

Climatic environment: The average annual temperature is 22℃, with hot and humid summers (humidity often exceeding 80%), posing a risk of condensation;

Load complexity: Mixed loads from sugar factory production lines (large-power motor group control) and cultural tourism facilities (lighting, exhibitions, commercial power consumption);

Safety standards: The cultural tourism area must eliminate the risk of electric shock, while the sugar factory requires rapid fault isolation to ensure continuous production.

Customer Pain Points

Poor environmental adaptability: The original power distribution cabinets are prone to condensation in hot and humid environments, leading to component corrosion, reduced insulation, and frequent failures.

Difficulties in expansion and maintenance: Upgrading the sugar production line requires adding new circuits, but traditional cabinets cannot be flexibly expanded; maintenance requires a full power outage, affecting continuous production.

Inadequate safety protection: The cultural tourism area has a large flow of people, and exposed live components pose potential safety hazards.

Difficult mixed load management: When sugar industry motor control (MCC) and cultural tourism power distribution circuits are installed together, mutual interference is likely to occur.

Solution Proposition

High environmental adaptability:The cabinet has a protection class of IP54 (optional), with a sealed structure to prevent moisture and condensation, adapting to Chongzuo’s hot and humid climate.The cabinet is made of 2mm aluminum-zinc coated steel plate, which has strong corrosion resistance and extends the equipment service life.

Modular and flexible expansion:Drawer units can be freely combined according to the 25mm modulus (8E/16E/24E). When the sugar factory adds new motor circuits, drawers can be directly inserted without modifying the cabinet.Supports mixed installation design: Sugar industry motor control circuits (below 400A) and cultural tourism power distribution circuits can be installed in the same cabinet, saving space.

Dual safety guarantees:After the drawer is pulled out, the vertical busbar reaches protection class IP2X, eliminating the risk of accidental contact by personnel in the cultural tourism area.Up to 3 mechanical locks can be installed at each position to lock key circuits of the sugar factory during maintenance and prevent misoperation.

Convenient maintenance:Three-section guide rail technology: Internal components can be maintained when the drawer unit is half-pulled out, eliminating the need for a full power outage for single-circuit maintenance in the sugar factory.Independent cable compartments (front/back of the cabinet) allow maintenance in the cultural tourism area at night without affecting daytime operations.

Customer Value Achieved

Improved production continuity:The maintenance time of the sugar factory’s motor control circuits is shortened, efficiency is improved, and production suspension losses are avoided.

Optimized whole-life cycle cost:The modular structure reduces the cost of later expansion;High-corrosion-resistant materials reduce the frequency of maintenance in humid environments.

Enhanced safety compliance:The protection level of the power distribution room in the cultural tourism area fully complies with the GB7251.12-2013 safety standard;The short-circuit withstand capacity of the sugar workshop reaches 80kA/176kA (horizontal busbar), ensuring rapid isolation of short-circuit faults.

Efficient space utilization:The mixed-installation cabinet integrates the loads of the sugar industry and cultural tourism, saving the floor area of the power distribution room.
