I. Project Background


This project involves the office building of Guangxi Meiyijia Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., which includes a basement equipment room. As an office space for small and medium-sized enterprises, the project required the construction of a safe, reliable, and operationally convenient power distribution system to meet the daily power load demands for lighting, elevators, air conditioning, etc., while also considering space limitations and long-term power stability.


II. Customer Pain Points


Space Constraints: The basement equipment room requires a compact layout; traditional distribution equipment occupies large areas and is inconvenient for maintenance.


High Reliability Requirements: Office building power supply continuity directly impacts business operations, necessitating mitigation of risks like short circuits and overloads.

Operational Complexity: Lacking a professional electrical team, the equipment needs to facilitate easy daily inspection and fault handling.


Expansion Flexibility: Future load adjustments require reserved space for capacity expansion.


III. Solution and Product Application


Addressing the project requirements, a three-tier power distribution architecture was adopted:


High-Voltage Incoming Line Cabinet


Product: KYN28-12 Armored Withdrawable AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear


Functionality:


Receives 10kV municipal power supply and distributes it to the transformer via the vacuum circuit breaker.


Full metal armored structure meets moisture protection needs in the basement (humidity ≤ 95%).


Mechanical interlock "five-prevention" design eliminates the risk of misoperation.


Trolley-type circuit breaker supports hot-swapping for rapid replacement during faults.


Low-Voltage Distribution Layer


Product: SWGCS-type Low-Voltage Withdrawable Complete Switchgear


Functionality:


Rated current 6300A, compatible with the 2500kVA transformer, handles the main distribution for the building's power and lighting loads.


Modular drawer units enable floor-by-floor circuit control; single-circuit power outage for maintenance does not affect overall operation.


Independent capacitor compensation cabinet ensures stable power factor.


Terminal Distribution Layer


Product: SWXL-21 Power Distribution Cabinet


Functionality:


Installed in vertical shafts on each floor for local distribution to offices and public areas.


Cabinet door integrates meters and buttons for real-time monitoring of branch circuit status.


Built-in triple protection (Circuit Breaker + Contactor + Thermal Relay) prevents motor overload damage.


IV. Customer Value

Safe and Reliable:


High-voltage cabinet pressure relief channels + low-voltage cabinet fully segregated design mitigate arc flash propagation risks.


Full system complies with GB7251, GB3906, and other national standards; passed acceptance by Guangxi Power Grid.
