Project Background

The Pingguo-Nanning Section of Tian'e-Beihai Highway is a key transportation artery in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Along the route, there are Jinling Upbound Service Area, Jinling Downbound Service Area, Dingdang Service Area, and Jinling Toll Station.


To ensure stable power supply for these service areas and toll stations, this project needs to construct a comprehensive power distribution system, including high-voltage power supply, low-voltage power distribution, and power & lighting control. The project adopts KYN28-12 type medium-voltage switchgear, HXGN15-12 type ring main unit, GCS type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear, and GGD type low-voltage fixed switchgear to meet the power distribution needs of different sections.

Customer Pain Points

High requirements for power supply reliability: Service areas and toll stations require 24/7 uninterrupted power supply, while traditional power distribution equipment has a high failure rate, which affects normal operation.


Challenges in environmental adaptability: Outdoor service areas need to cope with harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and dust, imposing strict requirements on equipment protection level and heat dissipation performance.


Demand for maintenance convenience: Equipment maintenance in remote sections is difficult, so power distribution products with low failure rates and easy maintenance are required.


Demand for energy efficiency management: Refined power distribution and control need to be realized to reduce operating costs.

Solution Proposition

High-Voltage Power Distribution System

Adopt KYN28-12 type armored withdrawable switchgear, with a rated voltage of 12kV and a rated current of up to 6300A. It has high breaking capacity and reliability, suitable for core power distribution protection.


Use HXGN15-12 type ring main unit for ring network power supply in service areas. It has a small volume and simple operation, with a built-in SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) load switch, making it suitable for integration into prefabricated substations.


Low-Voltage Power Distribution System

Apply GCS type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear for motor control and reactive power compensation. It supports modular design, facilitating expansion and maintenance.


Adopt GGD type fixed switchgear for power and lighting distribution. It has a compact structure and high breaking capacity, with a rated short-time withstand current of 50kA.


Environmental Adaptability Design

The cabinet body uses anti-corrosion materials and an independent air duct design to improve dustproof and moisture-proof performance, adapting to outdoor environments.


High protection level (e.g., IP65 fans) and liquid cooling heat dissipation solution ensure stable operation of equipment in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
